It is and isn't Victoria Day on Put-in-Bay this weekend

For most of us, Victoria Day is just like Boxing Day. It’s often found on calendars and it’s something we normally don’t pay attention to unless it’s an answer on “Jeopardy,” for which we have no question. In a nutshell, Victoria Day – this year May 20 – is Queen Victoria’s Birthday. It’s Canada’s Presidents Day, right down to retail outlets offering sales galore in the old lady’s honor.
