I was at Jimmy Bukketts, (not a spelling error, it really is spelled that way), this past Saturday for a small fundraising event for The Humane Society. I have to say, I was a little apprehensive driving all the way out there, especially since my GPS device kept telling me the address I was typing in did not exist.

For most of us, anatomy is a class we never took in college. Seemingly, our knowledge of the human body stems probably from watching a lot of "CSI.' With the latter thought in mind, traveling exhibit "BODIES…The Exhibition,' which is running now through October in downtown Cleveland, exposes the human body like never before for the masses with the notion that the crime scene is actually internal.

Lyman Harbor did a great capitalizing on their beautiful view of Cedar Point by inviting folks out to enjoy a free outdoor concert and watch the fabulous fireworks display from their lawn. People trickled in slowly at first, but by night fall the green lawn was covered in chairs, blankets and kids running around with sparklers.

If you don't have time to grow a garden, you can still eat locally and save money by going to the great local farmers' markets in our area. We are lucky to have a great growing season in Ohio that allows us to grow all kinds of yummy fruits and vegetables. We are also lucky to have lots of small farms in our area. They make their own honey, raise chickens for eggs and lots of other stuff, too.

After all these years, Mr. Sandusky - better known as Scott Von Heldt, or more simply, SVH - is coming home. If the name doesn't ring a bell, that's likely because he's been pretty busy with his musical career, playing shows around the world and juggling several impressive projects at once - like serving as ex-Korn member Brian "Head' Welch's touring guitarist.
