Recap: Summer Country Bash at Summit

Summit raceway hosted a musical line-up including Norwalk's own Jamestown and Toledo's Rodney Parker and the Liberty Beach Band. The 80's band Asia featuring John Payne also played just before the legendary Charlie Daniels Band graced the stage.

Ekoostik Hookah are no strangers to Ohio Bike Week and they put on an absolutely incredible show last night inside the Easyriders Saloon at the Rockin' Horse Entertainment Complex. They started fashionably late (like all other musical performers at Bike Week so far), but I wasn't mad because it gave me time to finally try out some delicious, heart-clogging fairground food.

Eating local… what the heck do I mean, how do you start and why should you care? Well I can't answer all those questions in one sitting but I will answer them eventually. Online newspapers: "We're not in it to make money"

This week's link is funny and sad at the same time. It's a news story from 1981, when online news was just starting out. The system - which takes 2 hours to produce an online newspaper - works great, except you don't get photos, ads or comics.
