1. High Roller Happy Hour at Thirsty Pony

: Funcoast is partying on Thursdays once again. Come to Thirsty Pony to hang with Funcoast and enjoy drinks, food, fun and, of course, a giveaway. The High Roller Happy Hours are your only chance to win tickets on the Fun Bus, which will be taking all of our highroller winners to and from the Hollywood Casino in Toledo on Dec. 1.

Why you should go: HalloWeekends is a super awesome local attraction that is often over looked as a fun fall activity. We are so used to having Cedar Point waiting for us to visit at this point in the season that many of us often put off going for so long that the park closes before we get a chance to visit. Plus, we forget that HalloWeekends isn’t the same as visiting Cedar Point the rest of the summer. There are special attractions only available during HalloWeekends and the park is so much scarier this time of year.

5. Sandusky Rollergirls Halloween Bout
Why you should go: Well for one, you can win free tickets to go. The Sandusky Rollergirls Halloween bout is an awesome event with costumes, raffles and more. The event is an invitational with players from the Sandusky Rollergirls, Burning River Roller Girls, Glass City Rollergirls, and Little Steel Rollergirls teams all participating. Players from every team will be mixed together and split into two teams, Freddy’s Nightmares vs. Michael’s Maniacs. Plus, Funcoast will be giving away tickets Monday Oct. 1-Friday Oct. 5. 6. Sandusky Art Walk
Why you should go: The Sandusky Art Walk is always a good time, and this one will be no exception. The theme for October is the Uptown Photo Op Photo contest. So go check out the art of locals, and try to guess with photos will win the competition.

7. Vermilion’s Zombie Crawl
Why you should go: Party it up zombie style in Vermilion. Start and end at Quaker Steak & Lube with the pre party and the Zombie Prom. Stop at five different participating bars in downtown including Quaker Steak & Lube, Rudy's, Tap House, Woodstock, and Knotty Pine. There will be costume contests at each bar including awards for the sexiest, best dressed, scariest, grooviest and best couple zombies.

10. Docktoberfest
Why you should go: The Great Lakes beer truck will be at the event along with three live local bands, multiple food carts and more. Docktoberfest is also a charity event benefiting Stein Hospice. Plus, on top of all of that, it’s at Dockside café, so you know there will be good food.
