Treater connects with Facebook and allows you to send a treat to any of your Facebook friends, even if they don't currently have Treater installed.
Here's how it works: click the green TREAT button then choose the friend you would like to send a treat to. Browse the categories and select a business with a physical location near your Treater recipient. Each business offers several suggested Treats to give that they’ve put together themselves, as well as an option to Create Your Own Treat. When you create your own, you pick the price and description of the treat and then can upload a photo and add a message. You can text the treat notification to your friend, e-mail it or post it to their Facebook wall.
There is a wide variety of businesses that are taking part in Treater, even some located in Sandusky! Starbucks, Dunkin' Donuts, Buffalo Wild Wings, Cold Stone Creamery, Five Guys, Jimmy John's, Panera and Pier 1 now accept Treater as a method of payment.
