The basic idea of Swing Shot is very similar to that of Angry Birds, the difference is that Swing Shot adds some new elements. Elements such as movement and enemies fighting back.
The way it works is you start as a few monkeys swinging on what looks sort of like a giant mobile made out of wood and vines. You then use one of your monkeys to throw a rock at your enemy, or enemies, whom are across the screen, using your monkey's arm like a sling shot. So yeah, a lot like angry birds.
There are some pretty big differences, though. For one, you can choose to use any of your hanging monkeys to throw the rock. Secondly, you only have about nine seconds to throw your rock, if you don't throw a rock within the allotted time you lose your turn.
If you don't knock down all of your enemies in your first turn, the enemies fight back by throwing rocks at you. Because you are hanging, your monkeys then begin to move around a bunch, making it harder to pick a monkey and to aim.
Plus, you can battle other Swing Shot players and keep track of your friends that are playing too so that you can battle them also.
While you play you earn bananas which you can use to purchase things such as new animals to play as. New animals will have new items to throw at enemies and the items will have different affects on enemies and their little mobile hanging things.
