Audition for ‘High School Reunion: The Musical’

The Port Clinton Playmakers, a local theatre company, is hosting open auditions for their March performance of “High School Reunion: The Musical.”

The group will be looking for 10 women and seven men who are 40 years old and older.

The musical is about the 30th high school reunion of the class of 1979 and casting is for the roles of the characters attending the reunion.

Some of the available roles for the musical include a current senator, a head cheerleader and the homecoming queen.

The production will take place March 14 through March 17, & March 21 through March 24 and will be directed by Jonnie-Myers Debbink.

In March the theatre will also be having open auditions for the comedy Harmony Romances.

The comedy centers around the wedding reception for a church lady. A sequel to a past Playmaker production, the comedy is about some friend’s suspicions over the groom at the wedding.

The cast will consists of five older women and three older men and auditions are being held at 7 p.m. March 25 and March 26.
