Where to enjoy Christmas lights

Taking in lights and decorations is one of the best parts of the holiday season. It’s always fun to drive around neighborhoods and ooh and aah at all of the decorated homes. To help you with your search of light displays to view we have listed a few locations where you enjoy some great Christmas lights.

• Annual Christmas light show at Ghostly Manor Thrill Center, 3319 Milan Road, Sandusky open daily from 6 p.m.-12 a.m. Admission is free. Check out www.ghostlymanor.com for more information. 

• Firelands Festival of Lights at Sawmill Creek Resort, 400 Sawmill Creek Drive, Huron now through December 31 from 5-10 p.m. This light display features over 30 local, non-profit organizations. Call 419-433-3800 extension 784 for more info.  

• Check out the Winter Wonderland by the Bay, 605 East Water Street in Sandusky now through December 30. For more information check out www.sanduskymaritime.org

• Also in downtown Sandusky is the light display on Washington St. The lights are on both sides of the street and span from Jackson St. to Wayne St.

• Lights Before Christmas brought to you by The Toledo Zoo, 2700 Broadway Street, open at 3 p.m. till close, November 16- December 31, closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Cost is $12 for adults, $9 for senior citizens and children.
