This Christmas song might be overplayed but it’s what came to mind as I walked through Sandusky County Fairgrounds viewing their first Winter Wonderland light display. Check out the photos I took HERE.
What to go?
WHAT: Winter Wonderland
WHEN: 6-10 p.m. Friday-Saturday, Dec.21-22 & 6-9 p.m. Sunday, Dec.23
WHERE: Sandusky County Fairgrounds, 901 Rawson Avenue, Fremont
COST: $1 or canned good item
INFO: 419-332-5604 and www.sanduskycountyfair.com
Admission is only $1 or a canned good or two to donate to the Sandusky County Food Pantry. You have one more chance to come this weekend, from 6-10 p.m. December 21-22, and 6-9 p.m. on December 23.
As an avid supporter of local events, I thought it was really neat to see a lot of local organizations like Camp Fire USA, Fremont Future Farmers of America club, Vanguard Tech Center, 4H Club, the local Chamber of Commerce and plenty more, come together to make up a beautiful Christmas light walkthrough. By the community, for the community.
Not only are the light displays awesome, and provide for photo opportunities of the little ones or the whole family, but there are also things to do once in the fairgrounds. There are horse rides, kids crafts, hot chocolate and cookies for sale and of course a chance to tell Santa what you want for Christmas.
This weekend make sure you make it out on Saturday to check out Hi Society’s dance performance beginning at 7 p.m. near the Flower Building, weather permitting of course.
