1. High Roller Happy Hour at Cheers
Why you should go: Enjoy a drink and a good time with the Funcoast team from 5-7 p.m. this Thursday at Cheers at our High Roller Happy Hour. We'll be giving away all sorts of awesome high roller themed prizes including the big prize, tickets to the Funcoast High Roller Happy Hour Great Day! Tours bus trip to Hollywood Casino in Toledo. It’s going to be a great time at Cheers with food and drink specials and just the generally great Cheers atmosphere.

2. November Art Walk
Why you should go: It’s your last chance of the year to walk the streets of downtown Sandusky and enjoy local artwork. The art walks are a favorite around here, and we’re sad that they’re ending for the year. However, this last one should be just a great as all the rest. The theme for November is written word, and the Sandusky Library is pitching in to help make the event awesome.

3. Two Nights of Jazz with the Konrad Wiszniewski/Euan Stevenson Duo
Why you should go: Enjoy the beautiful music of a Scottish duo while helping out your community. Each concerts acts as a fundraiser. The first is for Valor Academy, which has schools in both Sandusky and Norwalk. Proceeds from the second show will be helping Norwalk First United Methodist Church restore its building’s dome.

4. Friday Night at the Ritz
Why you should go: Discover a new local band at this monthly event at the Ritz. The performance will feature a jazz combo of Tiffin University Professors and is sure to be a good time. There will also be beer, wine, coffee, soft drinks and snacks available at the event.

5. Stein Hospice Spaghetti Dinner
Why you should go: Enjoy a delicious spaghetti dinner while donating to a great cause. Dinner is a mere $7 per person, with kids 5 and under getting in free. Dinner will include spaghetti with meatballs, salad, rolls with butter and a soft drink. Plus, all of the proceeds will benefit the Stein Hospice veterans program, PeaceWorks.
