“Each participant will be blowing glass paper weights using air bubbles in up to four different colors,” said volunteer and coordinator of event, Connie Peiffer.
“Glass blowing is a different kind of art, but it is amazing and so much fun to do,” Peiffer said. Master glass artist Carey Ferguson and his son will be teaching each session at the Ferguson Gallery at 5890 East Harbor road in Marblehead.
Tickets are still available for $70 per person. “Each hour long session is limited to up to 3 people,” said Peiffer.
During each session, chocolate and iced wine will be served as you marvel at your new masterpiece.
After you’ve finished blowing the paperweight, you will have the opportunity to take it home with you. “Everyone will be blowing their own paper weight for their own collection,” Peiffer said.
