Dinner will cost $10 a person for adults and $5 for kids 10 years old and younger.
“After dinner guests can participate in raffles and silent auctions,” Koser said. “Some of the silent auction items will include Indians baseball tickets, a trip for two to South Carolina and a fishing charter.”
Some of the raffle items will include Mud Hens tickets and cash prizes.
There will also be pictures of animals that are available for adoption at the event and puppies if any are at the shelter at that time.
“We are a no kill shelter, so all the money raised from this event will go 100 percent back into the animals we care for,” Koser said. “The money will be used for medical treatment, food, kitty litter and any other needs of the animals we care for.”
The goal of the event is to help local animals in need and support the Humane Society of Ottawa County, so they can continue to operate as needed.
“Our overall goal at the society is to help animals find their forever home,” Koser said. “We get lost, abused and neglected animals on a daily basis. We give them the treatment and love they need and then match them with a perfect family to live happily ever after. Without the support of events like this none of our work would be possible.”
