WHERE: Elks Lodge, 436 Croghan Street, Fremont
COST: $15

When you arrive at the party, you will be presented with a sheet of paper that lists the ten drinks that you will get to sample. If you choose wine, it will have the ten wines on it, if you choose beer, it will have a list of ten different beers.

The spirits come from Collins Fine Foods of Van Wert and are guaranteed different from your typical domestic beers or wine coolers. “The beers and wines are those you wouldn’t normally get to try or that are not normally found in the store,” explained Beaston. “They are different.”

“Jim Collins will start off with a drink, name it, give a description, where it was made and then his helpers will walk around with the drink allowing you to sample it.”

Cheese and crackers, among other appetizers will be available throughout the evening as well.

Also, if you happen to really enjoy a certain drink, you can purchase it that same evening. “Collins always brings extras for people to purchase,” said Beaston.

For musical entertainment local DJ, Dan Beaston, will keep the party hopping throughout the evening. After the tasting he will be running karaoke for those who aren’t quite ready to leave. “We have a lot of people who love karaoke, so that will be available after the tasting,” said Beaston.

Please call to reserve your tickets ahead of time. You can contact the lodge for more information at 419-332-3691.

I can get drunk for less than $15.00

It's a Beer and Wine "Tasting" ... not a Get Trashed for $15 or less.
But you wouldn't understand.
