The Kitchen’s Bounty is a gourmet cooking school that teaches cooking enthusiasts how to cook five or six course meals in the comfort of their own home.

“We have a studio in Huron that is a cooking school and entertainment house,” Carr said. “The campus in Perkins will consist of our store, as well as a test kitchen.”

The Perkins campus will sell products that cooking enthusiasts can use in their kitchens at home, as well as highlight cooking demonstrations. The Huron location will still serve as the location where amateur chefs will learn how to make mouthwatering dishes.

“Starting in June the Perkins location will also stay open until 8 or 9 p.m. one day a week and our demo chefs will feature products that we sell,” Carr said. “They will also highlight special cooking techniques that are important to the everyday cook.”

The cooking school hopes that by opening this second location area residents will become more familiar with what they do and they will attract new clientele.

“We feel like we are a hidden gem and there are a lot of people who are not aware of what we do,” Carr said. “This open house is almost like our big reveal into the community. So, if you have not heard of us or want to learn more about what we do, come check out our open house and learn how you can be a gourmet chef in your own home.”
