3. HalloWeekends’ Last Weekend
Why you should go: It’s your last weekend to enjoy this year’s Halloweekends at Cedar Point. We know that living so close to Cedar Point makes us think other people find it a little overrated, but take it from us, it deserves all the hype. Plus, it’s the perfect place to visit when you’re at that annoying in between age when you’re too old to go trick-or-treating without getting funny looks, but too young to party it up at the bars.
WHEN: 6 p.m.-midnight Friday, Oct. 16; 11 a.m.-midnight Saturday, Oct. 27; noon-9 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28
WHERE: Cedar Point, One Cedar Point Dr., Sandusky

4. “Angelina Ballerina the Musical”
Why you should go: “Angelina Ballerina the Musical” is the perfect show for all those parents with little girls who dream of becoming prima ballerinas. Plus, Funcoast is giving away free tickets to the performance. According to our sources, the show will have you dancing in the isles. To put a little Halloween spin on the event, everyone who attends is welcome to dress up in ballerina style.
WHEN: 7 p.m., Friday Oct. 26
WHERE: Sandusky State Theatre, 107 Columbus Ave., Sandusky

5. Zombie Pub Crawl and Ball
Why you should go: Dress up like a zombie, go to the bars and dance the night away. Then, at the end of the night when you feel like a zombie, you’ll look like one too. It’s totally awesome, what more could you ask for? There will also be a costume contest with cash prizes going on at Slater’s Pub.
WHEN: 7:30 p.m.-1:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 27

Don’t forget, this weekend is officially Halloween weekend!
This means that it’s the weekend for the adults to party it up, whether on the islands or the mainland, and the kids to fill up on candy. Trick-or-treating starts this weekend and you can find a list of local trick-or-treating times in our trick-or-treat roundup.
