In honor of Halloween several establishments on Put-in-Bay will be hosting one last party. Called the Boo Bash at the Bay, this party will start around 10 p.m. on Saturday, October 27 and go into the wee hours of the morning.
“Here at Mr. Ed’s we will be having a costume contest and will be giving away prizes for sexist outfit, best couple and best overall costume,” said Steve Firman, manager of Mr. Ed’s at Put-in-Bay. “This will be the last weekend we will be open until the spring, so we expect this to be the party of the year.”
With more than 2,000 people expected to flock to Put-in-Bay for the weekend, Boo Bash at the Bay will be filled with plenty of adult beverages, hilarious Halloween costumes and fun for all.
“Every bar does something different for Halloween, but usually each place has drink specials and some sort of costume contest,” Firman said. “We will also have live entertainment and the band My Sister Sarah will be performing.”
Other businesses that will hosting events for Halloween include the Round House Bar and the Beer Barrel Saloon.
“This is the last party of the year and it is a blast, so come out and celebrate a great season with us,” Firman said. “Also, if you are hung over on Sunday come by and recover with us.”
