Take some time to honor our veterans this weekend by attending one of the many local parades and services that are listed below.

Memorial 5K and 10K Open Run and Military Race
Run to honor your veterans this weekend at the Bellevue Rec Center. Refreshments and door prizes will be available. All proceeds will benefit the Wounded Soldier Fund.

Honoring Our Troops on Put-in-Bay
Join Perry's Victory and Internation Peace Monument as they honor our troops with a service beginning at 11:30 a.m.

Cedar Point honoring Veterans 
Cedar Point honors active, retired and honorably discharged members of the United States military with a FREE, one-day ticket to Cedar Point, valid May 25-27, 2013. Valid ID required (Active Duty ID, Retired Personnel ID, VA ID, copy of DD-214 papers and photo ID accepted). Additional tickets for family may be purchased for $39.99 each.

Memorial Day Service in Sandusky
A service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in Erie County on Sunday, May 26 from 2-3 p.m.

Port Clinton Memorial Day Services
Port Clinton has a lot happening to commemorate Memorial Day. A wreathe laying ceremony takes place at 9 a.m. at the Port Clinton Yacht Club. The parade will begin at 10 a.m. with a ceremony and a guest speaker to conclude the ceremonies at 11 a.m.

Celebrate Memorial Day in Norwalk
A parade will take place beginning at the Ambulance Garage and ending on the Woodlawn Cemetery in Norwalk.

Sandusky Memorial Day Parade
One of the biggest Memorial Day parades will be in Sandusky, starting at the Ohio Veteran's Home with local groups, organizations, school bands, military members and more. The line-up will begin in front of the I.F. Mack Building with opening ceremonies to begin at 9 a.m. and the parade, traveling down Milan Rd., to follow at 10 a.m. The parade will conclude with a service at the Oakland Cemetery.

Clyde’s Memorial Day Parade
The parade will line up at 9:15 a.m. at Main and Forest Streets in downtown Clyde. A service will be held at the conclusion of the ceremony at St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Bash at the Bay 
Musket firing demonstrations, a parade, parties galore and more, celebrate Memorial Day weekend and the official beginning of summer on Put-in-Bay this weekend.

Lakeside’s Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony
Lakeside will be hosting a parade beginning at 10:30 a.m. traveling east to west on Second Street. After the parade, guests are invited to Pavilion Circle for a ceremony honoring our veterans.

New London Memorial Day Parade
The town of New London will have a Memorial Day parade on Monday, May 27 at 10 a.m. with a ceremony at Memorial Park afterwards. The parade will start at the American Legion.

Fremont’s Memorial Day Parade
The parade will line up at 10 a.m. on North Front Street in Fremont concluding with a ceremony at Rodger Young Park.

Amherst’s Memorial Day Parade
Amherst’s parade begins at 10 a.m. on May 27 at the corner of Washington and Cleveland Streets and ends at Amherst High School. A short service will be held before the parade.

Vermilion’s Memorial Day Parade
Parade begins on Liberty Street at 10:30 a.m. and ends at Exchange Park where a ceremony will be held at 11 a.m.
