As summer comes to an end a Lake Erie private community is hosting several family concerts in an effort to bring the community together for one last summer celebration.
Lakeside Chautauqua is hosting their remaining Family Night in the Park Concert on Sunday, August 25 at the Steele Memorial Bandstand/Gazebo at Lakeside.
This weekend guitarist Lee Murdock will be performing.

“Lee’s music is about the lighthouses of the area and what is like to live on the lake,” Stelzer said. “Lee’s performance will be the last Family Night in the Park Concert, so it should not be missed.”
Murdock combines contemporary and folk music to create educational and historically accurate songs. Through his music guests will learn what it is like to work and live on Lake Erie.
“All the concerts will take place in our gazebo area, so the concerts will really showcase our property and give guests a beautiful view of the lake as they listen to live music,” Stelzer said. “So come celebrate the last few days of summer with us!”
The concert is free, but gate fees will apply. For these weekends gate prices will range from $9 to $19. For more information, visit www.lakesideohio.com.
