Local singer, Chelsea Wellman will open the show along with Szymanowki himself, performing some of his original songs. “Logan has a great folk sound and some awesome songs he wrote. We are excited to have him open for us,” said Kyle Kirchenbauer, percussionist for Last of the Wildmen.

The band, Last of the Wildmen is made up of mostly all Fremont native musicians who share a passion for music. The band’s lineup consists of Jimmie Getty on vocals and guitar, Kyle Kirchenbauer on percussion, Samuel Miller on banjo, strings, guitar and percussion, Matthew Grabowski on vocals and guitar, and Phil Tabor on bass.

“We are all great friends who share the same passion for great music” said Kirchenbauer.

Founded in February 2012, the band was started as a side project, and now after a CD release and ten day tour to Florida, has become the band member’s full concentration and focus. “We had just been doing the same thing musically for a few years, and we were ready for a change. We were ready to fall in love with music again,” said Kirchenbauer.

The band is really excited about their local concert on Friday. “We are excited to play for our town, Fremont, and to share our music. We really want to reach out to our local community, as well as other smaller communities around the country. We want to do what we love, for the people we love,” said Kirchenbauer.
