Question: Who were the judges?

Dj Jimbo Rocko; music producer and DJ
Shawn Daley; producer, owner of Mohawk Recording Studio
Kelly Rose; Mid-Day Dj and host of Firlands Local Music Spot on 95.3 WLKR

I'm Shawn Daley-
I have no problem in people knowing I'm friends and have worked (at times) with Sinful & UnLabeled, however, I do consider Sewing Circle great friends too..
Running a commercial studio & co-hosting a radio show with Kelly (about local music) kinda puts Kelly & I in a position to know those who would be trying to win a local Battle of the Bands.
I'm also very vocal about integrity of artists/bands.. I would never consider myself above that either. I'm pretty proud that I can approach music without a bias based on relationships.. But simply as a fan.
If the band performed better than the rest (at this one show) then they deserve to win, that doesn't mean the other bands were horrible at all-
I hope those who participated help each other and grow as artists.. Keep going, keep trying..most of all- be proactive
And don't let one battle of the bands be the defining moment for you..

I may be mistaken, but aren't the 2nd and 3rd judges friends/acquaintances of Sinful Desire? How would that make them impartial?

I was at the show... maybe Sinful won because they had a good set not because they know a judge or 2. To be fair I looked up the other bands and unlabeled is friends with those judges too.
