On Saturday I was at Margaritaville shooting photos for a Funcoast photo gallery and I asked this couple if I could take their picture. After explaining what Funcoast is and where they’re picture would be, we hit it off right away.

One thing led to another and I found out Eric and Jeannie Boyd were the soon-to-be newlyweds getting married during Ohio Bike Week.

Want to go?
WHAT: Wedding of Eric and Jeannie
WHEN: 9 a.m., Thursday June 6
WHERE: Mad River Harley Davidson, 5316 Milan Road, Sandusky
INFO: www.ohiobikeweek.com

Jeannie, learned from Ohio Bike Week's Facebook page organizers were looking for couples willing to get married during OBW. (See attached picture)

“We saw the post, and I messaged them and got a response right away,” said Jeannie.

Eric and Jeannie were beaming the entire time they told me their tale. Jeannie glowed brighter with every word she spoke, and Eric smiled in the background as she explained the details on how they first met and what their ceremony would entail.

Her wedding dress is white and the ceremony will be as traditional as it can be at Mad River Harley Davidson.

Being back at Margaritaville was a good fit for the couple.

“I proposed to her right here,” Eric said.

Jeannie smiled.

Some of the perks of getting married during Ohio Bike Week is you are treated like a queen and king, she said.

“We didn’t expect all of this treatment, we’re just normal people... they have been so good to us,” said Jeannie.

Benefits include free VIP All Access passes to being join in on the bike ride with Jesse, these lovebirds are having the time of their life.
