All of the State's new movie picks have been nominated for Academy Awards this year. There are a total of six movies on the list, including two free children's movies, and we are giving away tickets for all of them.

The new film series began last weekend with the films "Argo" and "ParaNorman." This weekend it continues with "Hitchcock" playing at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, and 3 p.m. on Sunday.

Then the theatre will skip a weekend, but will resume "The Master" being screened at 7:30 p.m. on February 23 and 25, and 3 p.m. on February 24.

Then, as February wraps up, so will the movies, with "Silver Linings Playbook" being shown at 7:30 p.m. February 28 and March 2, and at 3 p.m. on March 3. The second free children's movie, "Hop," will also be on the big screen this weekend, with showings at 7 p.m. on March 1 and 10:30 a.m. & 2:30 p.m. on March 2.

The cost to get in is $5 a ticket, but if you text the word FILM to 41948 you could be one of the lucky winners who will receive two tickets to see one of these Oscar nominated films.
