Beer resin-ates at Arnold's

Sixpoint Brewery in Brooklyn, New York, is an emerging brewery that has started to take the Ohio market by storm.  Celebrating it’s 10th year in business, it’s easy to see why beers from Sixpoint are often sought out and enjoyed.

Look for more beers from Arnold's Carryout soon at Foaming at the Mouth

Resin, a imperial/double ipa, was introduced in 2012 and has become an instant hit.  This year-round beer is popular among beer enthusiast and rates over 90 on both RateBeer.com and BeerAdvocate.com.

Immediately after opening the can it was easy to smell that this was going to be a hoppy beer.  The pour gave us a small amount of head and a large amount of carbonation.

The mouth feel was great, very silky and smooth, and the initial taste was pleasant.  The aftertaste lingered a bit longer than we like, but it was expected given the amount of bitterness units advertised.

Overall, Sixpoint’s Resin is a great alternative to the usual summer brews and can be found at Arnold’s Carryout in Willard.

Also, while at Arnold’s during July, don’t be afraid to ask about Christmas-style beers.  As many people like to celebrate Christmas in July, Chuck and Connie might have something in stock for you to enjoy or share with friends.Arnold’s Carry Out, 105 S. Myrtle Ave., Willard
