Get your spoons ready. The Buckeye Regional Chili Coookoff will set tongues on fire from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in Port Clinton. The event will be downtown on Madison Street. Everyone is invited. Cooks from all over the country and the International Chili Society will attempt to woo taste buds with varieties of chili, chili verde and salsa. The cookoff includes entertainment such as a DJ, face painting and a petting zoo. For those who are not chili addicts, there will be other food available including hot dogs, pork sandwiches and brats.
