Rehearsal Techniques for Children in Theatre

0 commentsFamily Friendly

“Rehearsal Techniques” (4 Saturday Workshops - 20 Student Limit)Focuses on what to do after getting a part. I got the part! Now what do I do? How do I know what to do? How do I learn my lines? This workshop will focus on the crafts of learning blocking, lines, and business. The focus will be on proven stage techniques that will help the actor make connections between movement, dialogue, and action. Mastering these mechanics gives the actor more time to spend on developing the character and increase their rehearsal quality. Taught by Dr. Ronald M. Ruble, Artistic Director of the Caryl Crane Children's Theatre program,in McBride Auditorium on the BGSU Firelands campus in Huron, Ohio.To register, students must be between the ages of 10 and 18. You must be ten years of age by April 19th.
