Tour of Kelleys Island - May 17, 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This new event will give you a taste of the natural beauty to be found on Kelleys Island-- one of Lake Erie's most scenic islands. Participants will be given guided tours of the glacial grooves, North Pond and North Shore Alvar state nature preserves and Kelleys Island State Park.
This event is limited to 24 participants, so the division is coordinating a postcard lottery. Interested participants should send a postcard with name, address, daytime phone number and number of guests in party (not to exceed 4) to ODNR-DNAP, 2715 Cleveland Road West, Huron, OH 44839 by April 15, 2008.
