A celebration of the founding of the island village by Jose DeRivera. Founder's Day means good food and lots of fun for the entire family. Held in DeRivera Park downtown from 11 am to 5 pm. Island entertainer Ray Fogg will perform a free concert from 12:30 to 2 pm. Mr. Balloon will make a new collection of zany balloon characters for kids of all ages and there will also be a magician. The Put-in-Bay Hog Roasters will provide a roast beef picnic lunch. Shop for bargain at one of the sale tables and pick up information on one of our non-profit groups that rely on the support of our community and visitors.
