NASA Glenn Plum Brook Station open house

0 commentsFamily Friendly

For anyone that isn't an employee at the NASA Glenn Plum Brook Station, it has always been relatively mysterious as to whats inside. In a way, its kind of like north central Ohio's version of Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory. But not for long. On May 31st and June 1 from 11:00am - 7:00pm the National Aeronautics and Space Administration will be celebrating its 50th anniversary with an open house event for the public to attend free of charge. Thats right folks, you don't even need a golden ticket to get into this one! All attendees will have the chance to experience the Space Power Facility, Spacecraft Propulsion Research Facility, and the B-2 Control Room on a free guided bus tour (last tour begins at 5pm). The open house will also feature exhibits and demonstrations, food and souvenirs will be available for purchase, and hands-on activities for children.
