Todya's 5th Michigan Regiment Band is a historical recreation of the 1861 band of the 5th Michigan Volunteer Infantry, which was mustered into service on August 28, 1861 at Fort Wayne, in Detroit, Michigan.  The present band brings American Civil War history to life through music and historical narration.   http://www.mi5th.org/
