9th Annual All Classics Weekend to be Held on Lake Erie
formerly the All Wooden Boat Festival
HURON, Ohio – January 17, 2008 – The Lyman Boat Owners Association (LBOA) will host the 9th Annual All Classics Weekend (formerly the All Wooden Boat Festival) the weekend of August 15-17, 2008 at the Huron Boat Basin in Huron, Ohio. Owners and enthusiasts of wooden boats in all makes and models are welcome at this event as participants and spectators. Many activities are planned throughout the weekend, including a Classic Car Cruise-In on Saturday afternoon, seminars and vendor booths from various marine-related businesses, a steak dinner and “classic” live entertainment all weekend. The public is welcome to view the boats at no charge on Saturday, August 16 from 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. There will be live entertainment in the Huron Amphitheater Saturday evening.
The LBOA is a non-profit whose mission for the past 30 years has been to promote, preserve and further foster the common interest in Lyman Boats and other types of wooden watercraft. “If It’s Wood, It’s Welcome!”
