Huron Pumpkin Fest

 Huron Pumpkin Fest~ Saturday, October 4th at the Huron Boat Basin & Amphitheater

Working in partnership with the Huron Public Library, there will be many activities to enjoy all day!  The Huron Public Library will start the day with planned activities & crafts from 10am-Noon. Then head on over to the Huron Boat Basin & Amphitheater, 330 North Main Street,  from Noon to 7pm to enjoy crafts, food, pumpkins, mums, entertainment, contests for young & old, and children’s games.  We will end the day with one of the favorite aspects from the past fall festivals….a pumpkin drop!!   FREE ADMISSION!

 

Schedule of events:

 

12 noon              Festival Opens– Great food, games, craft vendors and registration for contests!

12:30pm              Magic Show featuring…Magic by Drew in the Amphitheater

*1:45pm             Costume Contest Judging

3-5pm             Touch a Truck Area Open (check out trucks, tractors, safety service vehicles & a couple of surprises!)

3pm                         Juggling Act featuring…Dave Willacker in the Amphitheater

*4:30pm            Scarecrow Decorating Judging

5:15pm             Family Concert featuring…Guy Louis~ in the Amphitheater

6:30                         Barnes Nursery Pumpkin Drop in the parking lot!

 

*Register at the festival to enter our contests.  Costume Contest for ages 3 & up, registration will be open from 12 noon-1pm.  Scarecrow Decorating Contest for all ages, limit one entry per family; the decorating booth will be open from 1pm-4pm, contest open to the first 15 registered participants.  Participants will take home their scarecrow!

 1st, 2nd, & 3 place awards in our contests!
