Northcoast BBQ Rib Burn-Off

Sugarcreek restaruant is sponsoring a two day event at the Huron County Fairgrounds in Norwalk on September 10th and 11th. During the day, families can go out there and enjoy the delicious BBQ, bounce houses and petting zoo. The Sheriff Department will be there to do free ID's for kids and the Norwalk Police Department will be there to do free fingerprinting for kids as well. The "Adopt-a-Pet" program will be out there with adorable and very adoptable pets, so you could maybe walk away with a new addition to your family. You'll also see the Cedar Point Halloween characters make an appearance, along with ARCO race cars, Army Humvees, a chainsaw carver and fantastic live music both nights. You don't want to miss out on all the fun that Sugarcreek has planned this weekend!

Friday night brings us the well-known country band "Little Texas" to the main stage with "Rutherford County" opening the show and a special salute to the troops. This is a band that has been producing hits since the early nineties; you might recognize them from such top ten hits as "Some Guys Have All the Love", "My Love" and "God Blessed Texas". You can see their performance Friday night at 8:30 pm.

On Saturday, the "Monsters of Classic Rock" will will be blowing you away with the greatest rock hits by the original rockers themselves! You will get to see Chris Slade from "AC/DC", Greg Douglass from the the "Steve Miller Band", Mario Cipollina from "Huey Lewis and the News" and Terry Ilous from "XYZ". A local metal favorite, "PWR Trip" will be the opening act for the "Monsters of Classic Rock". The show will start around 8 pm.

We are looking forward to this event, Sounds like a lot of good things to happen. Alot of our group tend to lean toward the rock show. Monsters of classic rock put on a great show, and if Sandusky's PWRTrip puts on a show like they did during Ohio Bike Week, We would pay $10.00 just to see them!, they are one rocking band! Looking forward to it.
