Pioneer Days
Pioneer Days gives visitors an informaitve and inspiring experience in what life was like in the 1700's and 1800's with over a 150 reenactors demonstrating crafters, sutlers, and musicians. There will be basket makers, Indian bead weavers, broom makers, blacksmith, quilters, and woodworkers. You'll get a chance to visit camps of frontiersman and Native Americans with Revolutionary and Civil War enthusiasts. At the shelter, you can tap your feet to the music of the Country Crossroad Cloggers and Rev. Edgar Shelley's Lyme Village Pioneers. Children will be able to participate in tin-tapping, quill pen writing, story telling, and games. There will $2 tours of the 1882 Wright Mansion, offered by the Victorian Guild for the benefit of the Mansion Restoration Fund.
