An unparalleled hit in its native London and worldwide, The Mousetrap, by prolific mystery writer Agatha Christie, is the longest running play in history! The Mousetrap is the second production of The Huron Playhouse’s 60th Anniversary Season. Running nightly, July 8th through July 12th, the show promises to provide an evening of spellbinding suspense.
“Darkness… the music of three blind mice is heard in the distance… suddenly a piercing scream…voices shouting… then absolute silence…” Christie’s drama is mystery writing at its finest! What better way to spend the end of a summer evening than at a production of The Mousetrap? The captivating, intriguing and witty mystery is set at a creepy inn during an unexpected blizzard trapping guests inside. The prospect of murder lies at every turn providing the audience with a wealth of ‘whodunit’ clues that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the final curtain falls.
The eccentric characters are intricately depicted by a multi-talented ensemble cast: Meggan Conti (Akron, OH) as Mollie Ralston; Jesse Aukeman (Bryon Center, MI) as Giles Ralston; Pete Podolski (Plymouth, MI) as Christopher Wren; Jennifer Andacht (Oak Creek, WI) as Mrs. Boyle ; Greg Pearson (Jackson, TN) as Major Metcalf; Rebecca Maderski (Jacksonville, FL) as Miss Casewell; Chris Stewart (Bellevue, NE) as Mr. Paravicini and Patrick Simone (Stow, OH) as Sergeant Trotter
