The Lange Trust of the Sandusky Library, which has provided Erie County residents with a variety of free concerts for over 25 years, proudly presents their latest concert featuring The United States Army Field Band and Soldiers' Chorus. The concert will take place at the Sandusky High School Auditorium on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.

The Bellevue Community Days, started the weekend of family fun on Friday. This is the eigth year that the community of Bellevue has thrown this festival at Robert Peters Athletic Field and Park, which I have to say was very well put together.

If you put together the casts from the two movies opening this weekend, you'd have an interesting mix of people who used to be huge stars but are now doing movies like the ones opening this weekend. The two movies are "Grown Ups,' and "Knight and Day.' I'll put 10 bucks on neither of them taking the top spot at the box office this weekend.

When we got to Kalahari around 4:30, the parking lot was packed but the restaurant wasn't yet (it was still a bit early for dinner). Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful and we got set up right on the stage at the Reserve, which, if you hadn't heard, took the place of Kahunaville.

The Sandusky State Theatre will be taking a stroll - or maybe a break dance - down memory lane with "The Awesome ‘80s Prom.' The dinner show is $36 per person and opens Saturday, June 26 at 7 p.m. Other performances are Sunday, June 27 at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 10 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, July 11 at 2 p.m.
