The Blue Streak Company, Sandusky High School's Drama Club, will present The Secret Garden, an adaptation by Jerry R. Montoya this Thursday and Friday. This is not the musical version, but it is still based on the beloved book by Frances Hodgins Burnett.

After a couple of touch-and-go Tuesdays that didn't provide much excitement in terms of new releases, things are finally starting to get interesting. I'm gaga for the music of "Glee," and can't wait to see a movie showing how sport played a role in the reconciliation of South Africa.

What goes 35 mph and gushes 60,000 gallons of water a minute? The Flowrider wave at Kalahari's indoor waterpark, of course! Saturday afternoon was full of spectacular 360 turns, barrel rolls and cookie cutters as men and women of all ages ranging from ten all the way into their fifties tested their skills on the artificial sheet wave simulator.

This is the weekend to celebrate May, thanks to May Days and the 6th Annual Victoria Weekend at Put-in-Bay. There are plenty of great family-friendly events to get you and the fam out of the house, like a bird walk, a Kids Salute to the Troops and International Museum Day (one of our favorites!).
