Cedar Point, a 364-acre amusement park, is located on a Lake Erie peninsula. The park boasts 17 coasters and 68 rides, as well as live entertainment, games, restaurants, shops and accommodations. New this year is Maverick, a coaster that treats riders to multiple terrain-hugging elements that have never been experienced on a Cedar Point roller coaster. It features one of the steepest first drops on a roller coaster, an astonoshing 95 degree angle.
The park is open daily from May 12-Sept. 3, and on weekends through Oct. 28. Hours vary. Regular All-Day admission is $41.95, and Junior All-Day admission (Ages 3 and older, under 48" in shoes) is $11.95. Military admission is $31 (for active or retired military personnel and their immediate family members; valid ID required). Children age 2 and younger are admitted free. Daily parking is $10 per vehicle.
Soak City Regular All-Day admission is $29, and Junior All-Day admission is $11.95. Soak City Starlight admission is $15.95.
Two Day Ride & Slide tickets for both Cedar Point and Soak City are $69.95 or $29.95 for juniors. Starlight admission is $24.95 (valid after 5 p.m. or after 4 p.m. when Cedar Point closes earlier than 10 p.m)
