Chasing the Sirens

Some may call it beginner’s luck, but we think it’s sheer talent. 

The first time that Chasing the Sirens entered a Battle of the Bands contest, they snapped up the winning title. The band, a seven-piece metal outfit out of Willard that formed in summer 2007, won first place in Crimson Tearz Management’s Battle of the Bands held on June 19 at The Underground. 

But a winning title isn’t the only thing they gained. They also won a two-year management contract with Crimson Tearz Management (CTM), the pressing and distribution of their next album, 30 t-shirts and a batch of custom guitar picks.

The band, which formed in the summer of 2007, consists of Matt Courtright (bass), Adam Hall (guitar), Keith Kipp (vocals), Tyler McDonald (drums), Keith Rowe (guitar) and Morgan Vanderpool (vocals).
