WHAT: Movies by the River: The Santa Clause 3
WHEN: Dusk on Wednesday, July 25
WHERE: Huron Boat Basin & Amphitheater, 417 Main St., Huron
INFO: This, and every Wednesday until August 15, enjoy a free movie at the Huron Boat Basin and Amphitheater starting at dusk. This week, in honor of Christmas in July, the movie being shown at the Boat Basin is The Santa Clause 3. It’s a perfect way to enjoy Christmas in July with the whole family.
WHAT: Christmas in July at Cedar Point
WHEN: Tuesday-Thursday, July 24-26
WHERE: Cedar Point, One Cedar Point Drive, Sandusky
INFO: Celebrate Christmas in July at Cedar Point with discounted tickets and a surprise. Tuesday-Thursday, July 24-26 donate a new, unwrapped toy, worth at least $5, to Toys for Tots at the Cedar Point front gate, and receive $15 off of one Cedar Point admission ticket. Also be sure to check out the Cedar Point website beginning early in the day on Wednesday, July 25 for a special Christmas in July surprise!
WHAT: Party at the Plaza - Christmas in July
WHEN: 5:30-10 p.m. Friday, July 27
WHERE: Schade-Mylander Plaza, where Columbus Ave. meets E. Shoreline Dr., Sandusky
INFO: Head to Schade-Mylander Plaza from 5:30-10 p.m. for this special party at the plaza, Christmas in July event. Enjoy free candy and a visit with Santa, live entertainment by the CoCoBeanos, a car show, food, and more.
WHAT: Christmas in July at the Bay
WHEN: Friday-Sunday, July 27-29
WHERE: Downtown Put-in-Bay Island
INFO: Ohio Magazine voted Put-in-Bay as the “Best Place for Christmas in July.” Food and beverage specials in a Christmas theme are featured throughout the island, almost the entire downtown Put-in-Bay area is decorated for Christmas, including the lamp posts and there is great live entertainment across the island. The Christmas Parade is Friday, July 27, at 9 p.m., and fireworks are Saturday at dark.
