The Sandusky State Theatre will be honoring the life of Elvis Presley with a one time show that will make everyone shake, rattle and roll.

The Elvis tribute show “The Impossible Dream” will be performed at 8 pm on Saturday, August 4 at the Sandusky State Theatre, 107 Columbus Avenue in Sandusky.

“It is the 35th anniversary of his death, so we wanted to celebrate his life and career,” said Tom Kazmierczak, executive director of the Sandusky State Theatre. “We wanted to do the best possible show to honor his memory and found one of the best Elvis performers in the United States.”

Starring Sterling Pollaro as Elvis, the Vegas style show will feature musicians, dancers, backup singers and, of course, The King.

“You will get the full Vegas experience at this show,” Kazmierczak said. “It should be really entertaining and fun.”

The performance will center on Elvis’ years of performing in Vegas and will make you feel like you are in Sin City for one evening.

Playing memorable songs that everyone knows, Elvis will take you back to when you first heard his music.

“His music is so universal and his story is the American story,” Kazmierczak said. “He went from being unknown to fame and had struggles throughout the way.”

Tickets to the show are $15 to $25 for the show only and $33 to $43 for the show and dinner. Dinner will include Chicken Pomadoro with Fresh Tomatoes & Basil, Baked Pork Chops, Long Grain Garden Rice, Cranberry Glazed Almond Salad, Parmesan Parsley Bread Twists and Assorted Mini-Desserts.
