1.)   Funcoast Sizzling Summer Cruise Giveaway at Toft’s Dairy
Why you should go: Personally I don’t need any reason other than the ice cream to visit Toft’s. For those out there who might not be quite the super fan that I am, there’s even more reason to visit Toft’s this Thursday. With tickets for the Funcoast Sizzling Summer Cruise being given away, Remembering Venice performing and so much more, it’s an event the whole family won’t want to miss.

2.)   Vermilion Third Thursday
Why you should go: Vermilion’s Third Thursdays are awesome events that showcase live musical acts performing all over downtown. This month there will be over 25 musical acts performing a large variety of musical styles, from rock to country to polka to soul. The streets are also lined with all different kinds of artists creating anything from face paint to pottery. With all of downtown open during the event it’s a great opportunity to take the family out for dinner, dessert and maybe a little shopping, all while being serenaded by the sounds of live music. 3.)   5th Annual Appetite for the Arts: An Evening with Amelia Air Art
Why you should go: If you haven’t yet had a chance to visit the new Liberty Aviation Museum in Port Clinton this is the perfect opportunity. Explore the museum and attached hangar, enjoy food and wine, dance to live music performed by the Phil Wammes Trio and Free Wild, and peruse the art that is being showcased throughout the museum. You might even decide to purchase a piece. The event is 1930’s themed, in honor of the 75th anniversary of the year Amelia Earhart disappeared. 4.)   United Streetz of America Car Show & Food Drive Fundraiser
Why you should go: The new car show on the scene has decided to exclude no one. The show will include the classic car staples, but there aren’t any limitations on what you can show. In the words of the event’s creator, “if you can find a way to get it there, it’s more than welcome.” The show is will also have food and a 50/50 raffle. The event has also recently been expanded to include a fundraiser. While at the event guests will have the opportunity to donate money to the family of Owen Barker to help cover the costs of his funeral.

Why you should go: Round up the family and celebrate the nations and cultures of the world at this great event that combines a new hit with an old local favorite. Enjoy wine, food, music, live art presentations and more in beautiful downtown Marblehead.
