About the Band:

9FIRE is a heavy rock trio based out of Willard, Ohio. Formed in 2004, the band members include Mike Risner(vocals/guitar), David Shirey(bass), and Adam Baker(drums). 9FIRE released their first full length CD in early 2007. The CD was well received by fans and has even been featured on Mid-Ohio radio stations. They are currently working on a follow up to their 2007 release. 9FIRE has also had the opportunity to open shows for various national acts, such as Byzantine, Switched, and Hydrovibe. They were also scheduled to open for Buckcherry at Ohio Bike Week 2007 but due to weather, they were cut from bill at the last minute. 9FIRE has become known for their high energy live performances that leave the fans wanting more. In their live sets, they cover the best of today's rock, some classic rock, as well as performing some 9FIRE originals.
