Cedar Point is once again the world's best amusement park.
For the 16th consecutive year, the Sandusky-based venue won the "Best Amusement Park in the World" award at Saturday's Golden Ticket Award ceremony in Santa Cruz, Calif.
In addition to the best park award, Cedar Point's Millennium Force roller coaster was named the "Best Steel Roller Coaster in the World" for the third straight year.
""We are truly honored to have been named the best park in the world for the past 16 years and to have the top steel roller coaster for the third year in a row," said John Hildebrandt, Cedar Point's vice president and general manager.
