'Albert Nobbs' to play at the State

The Funcoast Film Series at the State Theatre will be hosting a screening of "Albert Nobbs" at 7 p.m. April 19, 20 and 21 and 3 p.m. April 22.

Albert Nobbs, played by Glenn Close, struggles to survive in late 19th century Ireland, where women aren’t encouraged to be independent. Albert poses as a man so she can work as a butler in Dublin’s most posh hotel — but she soon meets a handsome painter, and looks to escape the lie she has been living. Also starring Mia Wasikowska and Aaron Johnson.
