Shh — the music is about to start.
The Listening Room, a brand-new venue focused exclusively on music, is opening in Port Clinton on July 6 inside the OurGuest Inn and Suites Hotel.
The venture is an attempt to bring a taste of Nashville to the North Coast, featuring several original singer-songwriters. Each artist will play four shows – two per day, one at 6 p.m. and another at 9 p.m.
This offers guests more than one opportunity to see the hot young acts, each of which are up-and-coming hopefuls that populate the current Nashville scene.
Upcoming artists include Mike Willis and Mickey Kelley, Noah Collins, Annie Mosher and Erin Thomas.
Drinks and snacks will be served, but the venue does not have a dinner service available.
The cost is $13.50 per show, but that includes two drinks — we’re pretty sure you’ll get your money’s worth.
Seating is limited, so it’s suggested that you order tickets ahead of time by calling 419-734-7050.
Schedule of Musicians:
Mike Willis and Mickey Kelley: 6 & 9 p.m. July 6 and 7
Noah Collins: 6 & 9 p.m. July 20 and 21
