Whether you’re up for the wildest party on the Sandusky Bay or want to keep it low key and family-friendly, we’ve got the perfect weekend planned for you. 

1.)   Bellevue Community Days Why you should go: Enjoy rides, food, live music, fireworks and much more at this community event. The midway opens at 5 p.m. on Thursday, and a pizza contest follows soon after (at 8 p.m., for those of you looking to chow down). Live entertainment will be provided throughout the festival by Lonesome Pony and the Fleetwood Mac Tribute Band Rumours, to name a few. Grab some friends, jump on a boat and head to the sandbar, where you’ll eat, drink and get rowdy with thousands of other fun-loving folks. The most infamous bikini contest takes place here (if you don’t believe us, you’ll just have to see for yourself) at 3:30 p.m., with $200 going to the first place winner. You’ll also enjoy plenty of live music throughout the day. (Note: all events take place on the west side of the sandbar.) WHEN: 10 a.m. Saturday, June 30 WHERE: Sandusky Bay Sandbar        COST: Free, but donations are strongly encouraged INFO: Funcoast.com and sanduskybaybargeparty.com   3.)   Stein Hospice 5K Regatta Run Why you should go: Stein Hospice’s annual 5K Regatta Run will begin and end at Battery Park in downtown Sandusky. Run starts at 8:30 a.m. with registration beginning at 7:30 a.m. Runners can pre-register at steinhospice.org. Following the race, a continental breakfast will be served at the Sandusky Sailing Club. WHEN: 8:30 a.m. Saturday, June 30 WHERE: Battery Park Marina, 701 E. Registration required. Limit is 24 paddlers, 12 passengers. Those under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Those with their own paddle craft are welcome. Meet at the equipment shed.
