1.) Marblehead Summerfest Why you should go: St. Joseph Church Choir will be hosting Marblehead Summerfest in James Park. The festival will consist of carnival rides, carnival games, vendors, a bake sale and more. Bar-B-Que Traveler will be preparing BBQ chicken and BBQ ribs. Other foods include summertime favorites like funnel cakes, hand-dipped corn dogs, cotton candy, taffy and more. There will also be a beer tent and live music overlooking the park. It’s located in the OurGuess Inn and Suites in Port Clinton, and is specially designed to be a spot where you can enjoy an intimate performance. Mid Summer Antique Fest Why you should go: Head to the Milan Village Square (which has several popular antique shops of its own) to browse through more than 50 dealers. There will be high quality antiques for sale, including furniture, pottery, glassware, jewelry, textiles and much more. You don’t want to miss this show! People can pre-register at the Winery or register on the day of the race until 5:45 p.m. Registration fee is $18 per person and includes a t-shirt (while supplies last). Rye Beach Day Why you should go: This is the perfect family-friendly event.
