We're halfway through the final ballot for this year's Readers' Choice Awards, and we here at Funcoast.com thought you might want a little more information about the nominees. So we asked the owners and managers some questions to help you get to know them a little bit better.
You told us who should be on the final ballot in categories ranging from best tacos to best tattoo place. Now you get to vote to see who's number one. Vote now through March 17 and then come hang out at Lyman Harbor on March 25 to find out who won.

The 2009 Readers’ Choice Award winners will be announced on Thursday at a party at Lyman Harbor, and you’re invited. The fun begins at 5 p.m., and you’ll have a chance to win prizes, enjoy the cash bar and schmooze with all the nominees (and the Funcoast staff, of course).

The Funcoast.com Readers’ Choice Awards party is tomorrow and surely you’ll have recovered from Mardi Gras by then. C’mon, come out and hang with the Funcoast crew! Not to be confused with a Mardi Gras krewe, we won’t be slinging any doubloons or beads, but we do have plenty of prizes to give away. Yum Yum Chicken from Andy’s China Dragon for example, or that iPod — those are things you’d probably not want flying at your head.
