Beth's Best Bets
0 commentsNow that you've had a week to think it over, study it and frame an issue on your wall, you can tell us: What do you think of our new look? We like it, and we hope you do, too. The new-and-improved (like it could get any better -- hello!) Funcoast.com Magazine boasts a new look to the cover, pages devoted to specific entertainment genres (Stage and Screen, Music, and, because we were too lame to think of a better name, Etcetera) and lots of other nips, tucks and tweaks.
One thing that won't change, whether you like it or not, is me. I'll still bring you the best of the entertainment bunch each week in the form of Beth's Best Bets. Check out the calendar and articles -- both online and in print -- for even more fun things to do this week.
"EXPOSED" MALE REVIEW, 9-11 p.m. March 22, The Pump Bar & Grille, corner of Strub Road and Ohio 4, Perkins Township
Women are exploited every day. That means it's okay to hoot at random men for at least one night.
EDITORS/STELLASTARR*, March 25, Agora Theater, 5000 Euclid Ave., Cleveland
One of the groups is the Editors, I'm an editor. Makes sense.
JIM BRICKMAN, March 25, The Ritz Theatre, 30 S. Washington St., Tiffin
Jim Brickman is a pianist. He he. I said pee-uh-nist.
SEAN PAUL, March 27, House of Blues, 308 Euclid Ave., Cleveland
"Temperature" irritates me to no end, yet I still listen to it. Kind of like Celine Dion.
REMBRANDT: WHAT WAS HE THINKING?, through May 28, Toledo Museum of Art, 2445 Monroe St., Toledo
Landscapes and self-portraits and nude studies ... oh my! Check out this exhibit to figure out what was going on in Remmie's head when he painted his masterpieces.
